Bernet RagetliCocoa Box

The ‘Cocoa Box’, by Bernet Ragetli, is the 10th ART-on-a-BOX container. The Amsterdam based artist Bernet Ragetli had the honour of creating the latest container. Port of Amsterdam is sponsor of the Amsterdam chocolate festival ‘CHOCA’. For 2 weeks in November, various activities took place throughout Amsterdam. Part of the programme was the painting of the new art container with the theme ‘Cocoa’.
The location for the painting of the container was the main public library of Amsterdam (OBA).
Bernet Ragetli illustrates for a wide spectrum of clients.
With an interplay of austere forms and free association she brings the relationship between Amsterdam, the world’s largest cocoa port, and one of it’s most interesting commodities, cocoa.
