Let me extend a very warm welcome to you here, on the website of ART-on-a-BOX. As President and CEO of the Port of Amsterdam, I take great pride in our organization’s cooperation with so many high-calibre visual artists, who have all developed their own unique style. What better way to represent this famous one-of-a-kind port city? Twelve local artists will be contributing to the project. Twice a year, one of them will create a 'painting' on a container. In doing so they will be producing the most mobile artworks ever. This website will keep you posted on each of these twelve artistic endeavours.
